Respect for work, history and modern achievements: an archivist from Molodechno took part in the project «Raising patriots with Belaya Rus»

Maria Mechkovskaya, an archivist of the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno, took part in an educational excursion to the enterprise ZAO Amkodor-Unikab – one of the leading machine-building industries of the region. The event was held within the framework of the project «Raising patriots with Belaya Rus», aimed at patriotic education of youth and popularization of the achievements of domestic enterprises.

The organizer was the district committee of Belaya Rus, which has been implementing initiatives uniting young specialists from various fields for several years. The goal of the project is to develop respect for work, history and modern achievements of Belarus in young people.

During the excursion, the participants got acquainted with the production process, saw modern technologies for assembling equipment, talked with engineers and employees of the enterprise.

Maria Mechkovskaya noted the importance of such events: «Such meetings help young people understand the value of work and continuity. Last year, we shared our experience in the archive in a similar format, today we are learning from machine builders – this is an important dialogue between generations and professions». The «Raising Patriots» project continues to expand its horizons: each step is aimed at strengthening civic responsibility and professional growth of young people.
