BGAMLI at the poetry festival in Vyazynka
On July 12, 2025, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) took part in the republican festival of poetry, song and folk crafts «With one thought about the happiness of Belarus…», organized by the State Literary Museum of Yanka Kupala, the Molodechno District Executive Committee and the Union of Writers of Belarus in the Kupala Memorial Reserve «Vyazynka».
Vyazynka is the birthplace of Yanka Kupala, the first people’s poet of Belarus. The poetry festival in the memorial reserve has a traditional character and is held annually. This year, the festive program included performances by famous Belarusian writers and journalists, musical groups invited by the Republican Center for National Cultures, folklore groups of the Molodechno District, master classes were organized for lovers of folk art.
The BGAMLI employees laid flowers at the monument of the people’s poet and got acquainted with the exposition of the museum of the memorial reserve. It includes copies of documents, the originals of which are stored in the archive-museum. The visit to the festival «With one thought about the happiness of Belarus..». is aimed at strengthening the traditional ties of BGAMLI with literary museums of Belarus, as well as relationships with writers, the donors of the BGAMLI.
