Employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Lida» at a ceremonial event to summarize the results of the exhibition «Memory of the War is Alive Forever»

07.08.2025, on the day of the liberation of Lida region from the Nazi invaders, a ceremonial event was held in the Lida Historical and Art Museum to summarize the results of the exhibition «Memory of the War is Alive Forever», organized jointly with the zonal state archive in Lida as part of the patriotic cultural and educational project «Let’s Preserve the Light of the Victory Feat Forever!» Since its opening in February 2025, more than 1,000 people have visited the joint exhibition. At the event, the results of the patriotic cultural and educational project were summarized, and the winners and participants of the regional competition «Time and Memory: Message from the Heart», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, were awarded with diplomas and certificates.

The event was given special significance by the transfer of a Time Capsule with a message to descendants by the Chairman of the Lida District Council of Deputies I.G.Belush, members of the Youth Parliament and participants of the competition to the Lida Historical and Art Museum. The capsule will be opened in 2035 on the day of the 90th anniversary of the Great Victory.
