Screening of the film «The History of the Great Victory» for students of the educational and health camp «UYUT» of the state institution of additional education «Orsha District Center for Children and Youth Creativity»

On July 2, 2025, in the institution «Zonal State Archive in Orsha» for students of 2 groups of the educational and health camp «UYUT» of the state institution of additional education «Orsha District Center for Children and Youth Creativity» a screening of the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory» was organized, created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Before the screening, the leading archivist of the State Archive in Orsha Yu.I.Gryadovka told the children about the main events of the Great Patriotic War, which are described in the film, about the feat of the Soviet people, emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory and passing on this knowledge to the younger generations.

At the end of the event, a sightseeing tour of the archive was held for the students, and a stand exposition of the exhibition of archival documents «Do you want peace? Remember the war..». was presented to their attention.
