On congratulations to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Pasug Ivan Aleksandrovich

July 2, 2025, on the eve of the 81st anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, the director of the State Archives of the Gomel Region Yuri Shestopalov, the chairperson of the primary trade union organization of the archive Svetlana Primakova, the archive employees and representatives of public associations congratulated the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Pasug Ivan Aleksandrovich on the upcoming holiday. Having wished the veteran good health and longevity, the guests amicably sang their favorite songs – «Victory Day» and «Katyusha». The veteran was touched by the congratulations to tears.

We, the descendants of those who gave us a peaceful sky, bright sun, smiles and the joy of life, will forget about the great feat of the soldiers-liberators. Their feats will live on for centuries and in their descendants! Dirty lies will not touch our sacred land, the pure and glorious history of the Soviet people! Thank you for the Victory and for our Independence!
