Evacuation drill and emergency prevention: a preventive event was organized at the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno

An event aimed at improving safety and preventing emergency situations was held at the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno.

The meeting was opened by the head of the Molodechno State Emergency Department Sergey Kostyukevich, who presented statistics on incidents, spoke about the key causes of death in fires, reminded employees about the rules of conduct at home, in offices, on water bodies, in forests and garden plots. He also focused on the topic of civil defense. During the speech, the participants received preventive information materials and were able to ask questions of interest.

After him, the chief power engineer of the archive Petr Bely took the floor, supplementing the conversation with technical aspects of ensuring safety in the building.

The culmination of the meeting was an evacuation drill, conducted under the guidance of specialists from the Fabilon company, servicing the automatic gas fire extinguishing system of the facility. The archive staff practiced safe exit skills following the established evacuation plan. And upon returning to the archive, they continued the event by watching training videos.

Holding such meetings not only increases archivists’ awareness of the necessary safety measures, but also promotes coordinated actions in emergency situations.
