On the visit to the memorial sign to prisoners of war and civilians near the village of Rabovichi on the Slavgorod-Mogilev road by an employee of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the head of the department of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» Tatyana Shevchik visited the memorial sign to prisoners of war and civilians.

The monument was erected near the village of Rabovichi in the Slavgorod district, at the site of the execution of prisoners of war, Red Army soldiers and civilians in 1941. Here, a monument was erected in honor of the soldiers of the units and parts of the 3rd Army of the Belorussian Front (Army General K.K.Rokossovsky), who fought on the Pronya River in October-November 1943. A dugout and trenches are reproduced nearby.
