A meeting dedicated to methods of combating cybercrime was held at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region as part of the «Decade of Cybersecurity» (May 26 – June 4)

On June 3, 2025, a meeting of the staff with Stanislav Aleksandrovich Dovgilov, an operative officer of the cybercrime counteraction department of the Zheleznodorozhny District Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk, was held at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region as part of the «Decade of Cybersecurity» (May 26 – June 4).

The employees were told not only about the basic principles of data protection, such as choosing strong passwords, being careful when handling email attachments, and avoiding excessive dissemination of information on social networks, but were also informed about the need to regularly update proven software for cell phones, download such applications only from official sources, and also – the need to restrict access to location information in applications and browsers. The rules of conduct in cases where there is a risk of communicating with cybercriminals were also announced.
