Virtual exhibition «Vasil Vitka – poet of the child’s soul» is dedicated to the International Children’s Day

The Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI) sincerely congratulates all children and adults on the International Children’s Day! May every child grow up in love, safety and happiness, and may creativity and kindness always accompany their lives!

The archive-museum presents documents from the funds of Vasil Vitka (Timofey Vasilyevich Krysko) – an outstanding poet, prose writer, playwright, critic, teacher, and editor-in-chief of the magazine «Vyasyolka» in 1957-1974, whose poetic talent was especially evident in his works for children.

Documents of V.Vitka were received by BSAMLI on December 19, 1997 from his daughter N.T.Gavrilovets. These are manuscripts, notebooks, letters to V.Vitka, materials for a biography, books from V.Vitka’s library, including those with dedications.
