On holding a joint seminar at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus on current issues of office work and archival affairs

On May 28, 2025, a joint seminar of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus on current issues of office work and archival affairs was held.

The event was held at the sites of the State Control Committee (hereinafter referred to as the SCC) and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the NARB) for employees of the main department, structural divisions and territorial bodies of the SCC, financial investigation bodies responsible for office work and archival affairs.

The Deputy Director of the Archive E.A.Stukanova delivered a welcoming speech at the NARB site

The issues of compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of archival affairs and records management, fulfillment of the requirements for the formation and registration of cases in preparation for transfer to the archive, the procedure for the destruction of documents and cases, the organization of work with electronic documents were covered in the speeches of the Head of the Department of Records Management and Formation of the National Archival Fund T.A.Shevchenko and the leading archivist of the Department of Records Management and Formation of the National Archival Fund L.N.Signevich.

T.A.Shevchenko also conducted a tour for those present at the seminar to familiarize them with the work of the archive.
