On May 28, 2025, the annual event «Night of Museums» was held in the Vitebsk Regional Museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union M.F. Shmyrev.

At the event, Deputy Director of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region Tatyana Buevich spoke with a lecture «Attribution of newsreels: approaches, difficulties and «finds» (using the example of the chronicle-documentary film «Liberation of Vitebsk», prepared by BGAKFFD).
