A seminar was held in the state archive of public associations of the Gomel region

On May 15, 2025, as part of providing practical and methodological assistance to organizations-sources of staffing the state archive, a training seminar on the topic of «Office work: a step-by-step algorithm» was held at the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region».

The event was attended by representatives of regional, city and district public associations.

A multimedia presentation on the stated topic was presented to the audience. During the seminar, the following issues were considered: the main regulatory legal acts regulating relations in the field of office work, the algorithm for organizing office work in an organization, the main tasks and functions of the expert commission, the main tasks of the organization’s archive, etc.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to: ask questions of interest, discuss practical aspects and receive practical recommendations on working with documents. The seminar aroused great interest among the audience and became a valuable tool for improving professional competencies.

In conclusion, a screening of the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory» was organized for the participants of the seminar. The film was prepared for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.
