Congratulations to the employees of the National Archives of Belarus on Family Day

On May 15, the Republic of Belarus celebrates Family Day. A strong family is the basis for the development of the state.

Director of the National Archives of Belarus Mikhail Glushakov congratulated the archive workers on the holiday at a ceremonial meeting of the staff and wished that they would always be surrounded by the daily care of their loved ones, that their children would delight them with their successes, and that their grandchildren would give them warmth and attention.

An exhibition of documents on the family history of a number of Belarusian scientists and cultural figures, including Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich, Maxim Bogdanovich, Mitrofan Dovnar-Zapolsky, and Kondrat Krapiva, has been prepared for the event as part of the republican campaign «Together – for a strong and healthy family». The exhibition presents family lists, genealogical tables, records in census tales and metric books of churches and cathedrals.
