On the demonstration of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory» by the Zonal State Archives in Slutsk for the Slutsk District Enforcement Department

On May 7, 2025, as part of the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a meeting was held between the director of the state archives I.A.Borodina and the head of the department for the use and publication of documents L.N.Patskevich with the employees of the Slutsk District Enforcement Department.

During the meeting, the film «History of the Great Victory» was shown, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the participation of the Department of Archives and Records Management, which tells about the main events of 1941-1945, about the feat of the multinational Soviet people who brought May 9 closer.

The archive employees introduced the banner exhibition «Archive documents testify». This exhibition is presented by archival documents and photographs reflecting the events of the city of Slutsk during the occupation period, post-war reconstruction, as well as the names of heroes in the names of streets of the city of Slutsk, who courageously and bravely fought for its liberation.

The exhibition aroused keen interest among those present. The OPI employees actively asked questions to archivists regarding wartime documents, as well as biographical documents.
