On May 6, 2025, the premiere screening of the animated documentary film «Memorial Complexes of Belarus -2» produced by the National Film Studio «Belarusfilm» took place in Vitebsk
The second part of the animated documentary almanac tells about the events that took place in Belarus during the Great Patriotic War and were immortalized in five unique memorial complexes dedicated to the victims of the Stalag-352 concentration camp, the tragedy in Khatyn, the prisoners of the Ozarichi death camp, the defenders of the Brest Fortress and the first combat salvos of the legendary «Katyusha».
The screening for students of schools and gymnasiums in Vitebsk took place in the Cinema House – the largest cinema in the regional center. Before the start of the session, the head of the department for the use and publication of documents of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region V.P.Kokhanko spoke with an introductory speech about the perpetuation of memorable places and events related to the Great Patriotic War.
