A single information day dedicated to the Chernobyl Tragedy Day at the Zonal State Archive in Lida

On 26.04.2025, a single information day dedicated to the Chernobyl Tragedy Day was held at the Zonal State Archive in Lida. The event was attended by the father of the head of the department for ensuring the safety of documents and NSA Ivanch O.V. – Shein Viktor Yakovlevich, a participant in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Ivanch O.V., using the example of her family, spoke about the terrible days after the accident, which irrevocably changed the fate of her loved ones, about the heroism of her relatives and fellow countrymen who took part in the liquidation of its consequences. In the closing remarks, the director of the archive Svirko S.G. recalled the difficult path the country has traveled from the national ecological catastrophe to the revival and return to life of the territories affected by the Chernobyl accident, and expressed words of gratitude to all participants in the liquidation of the consequences of this terrible tragedy.
