The State Archives of the Grodno Region held a Day of Remembrance dedicated to the heroism of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War

On April 25, 2025, the State Archives of the Grodno Region held a Day of Remembrance dedicated to the heroism of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. A screening of the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory» was organized for the archive staff. It was prepared for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

After watching the film, the archive staff discussed the historical events reflected in the newsreel, noting the important role of archival documents in preserving the historical memory of the events and heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
