On the holding of a seminar by the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region»

On April 24, 2025, a seminar on the topic of «Archival legislation of the Republic of Belarus at the present stage» was held by leading archivists of the department for the formation of the National Archival Fund and records management of the state archive for the chairmen of expert commissions and specialists of the documentation support service of the Bykhov District Executive Committee and district organizations that are sources of staffing for the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region». The seminar was organized by the state archive jointly with the Bykhov District Executive Committee on the basis of the district executive committee.

The head of the state institution «Bykhov District Archive» was also invited to the seminar as a listener.

Specialists of the state archive covered issues related to records management and the work of archives of organizations, including the implementation of the AIS «Departmental Archive». The speakers focused special attention on the preparation and transfer of permanent storage cases, the storage periods of which in the organization have expired, to the state archive.

Specialists of the state archive answered questions from representatives of organizations.

The participants’ attention is drawn to the need to subscribe to the industry scientific and practical journal «Archives and Records Management».
