Archivists of Zhlobin honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War
On April 25, 2025, employees of the state archive of the city of Zhlobin held a memorial day, making an important and significant visit to the burial place of the Komsomol-underground group of Grigory Filippovich Baranov, which during the Great Patriotic War showed incredible courage and dedication in the fight against the fascist invaders. This event was not only a tribute to the memory of the heroes, but also a reminder of the importance of preserving historical memory for future generations.
The group of G.F.Baranov, consisting of brave and dedicated people, actively operated under occupation, organizing sabotage actions against the enemy and helping the partisans. Their exploits became a symbol of resistance and courage, inspiring many to fight for the freedom and independence of their homeland.
During the visit, the archive staff laid flowers at the monument erected in honor of these heroes at the site of their execution, and observed a minute of silence as a sign of respect for their memory.
