«Waybill – Victory!»: employees of the archive of public associations of the Gomel region took part in the opening of the exhibition

On April 24, 2025, employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region» took part in the opening of the exhibition «Waybill – Victory!», which took place in the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace.

The exhibition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, to all who went through the difficult path to the cherished day, their bright memory and their good legacy – the world that they defended.

The exhibition presents the stories and things of those who went through Europe and conquered Berlin: stories that have become one common story, and things that have become keepers of memory and symbols of the unparalleled feat of simple and courageous Soviet people. Their portraits are depicted in the few surviving details of uniforms, yellowed postcards sent home from the front, everyday phrases on time-worn sheets of letters.
