Meeting with members of the memorial detachment of Post No.1 of the Hero City of Minsk in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

On April 24, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a meeting was held in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus with members of the memorial detachment of Post No.1, which carries the Honorary Watch of Memory at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square. This time, the archive was visited by 27 students from Secondary School No.164 in Minsk.

Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush, Head of the Department of Personal Origin Funds, conducted a tour of the archive, spoke about its history, composition and features of storing documents, and about the archive’s work in the field of publication and exhibition activities.

As part of the events held by the archive for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a screening of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, was organized for students. The students visited the archive of partisan formations. I.V.Dorogush gave a talk on the history of the partisan movement and introduced the students to the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award sheets, photo albums and other documents.
