On April 24, 2025, employees of the State Archives of the Mogilev Region attended a screening of documentaries in the Chyrvonaya Zorka cinema in Mogilev as part of the republican campaign «Every Belarusian Should See This». Those present were shown two documentaries about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War – «Death Camps» and «Burnt Villages», which were produced by the National Film Studio «Belarusfilm», on the initiative of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus.

These films, created with the aim of preserving the memory of the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people, will become an important contribution to the country’s cultural heritage and a reminder of the need to remember and understand the past.

The audience was able to see with their own eyes the tragic stories from the history of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War. The films show facts of violence and murders of civilians, the destruction of entire villages, the memory of which has yet to be restored.
