On April 23, 2025, the scientific and practical conference «Standardization in the field of digital development» was held

The conference was organized by the Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification (BelGISS) and the RUE «Digital Development Center» of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus. The archival industry was represented at the conference by the head of the documentation department of the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs (BelNIIDAD), secretary of the National Technical Committee for Standardization TC BY 28 «Document Management» E.V.Shumskaya.

The conference discussed issues of standardization in the IT sphere and the interaction of national technical committees for standardization in solving them, creating information systems, using artificial intelligence technologies in standardization, etc.

E.V.Shumskaya presented a report on the topic «Prospects for interaction of technical committees in the field of document management and digital transformation on the development and implementation of information systems for document management and long-term storage of archival documents». The conference participants were particularly interested in the issues raised in the report on the implementation of electronic document management, work with electronic documents (ED), including electronic documents (ED), transfer of ED (ED) to the archives of organizations, storage of ED (ED) permanent and temporary (over 10 years) without paper analogues, etc.
