Screening of the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory» by employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Kobrin»

On April 22, 2025, specialists of the zonal state archive in Kobrin organized a screening of the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory» for students of the educational institution «Kobrin State Polytechnical College». The film was created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Before the screening of the film, the head of the department Svetlana Zaruba gave an introductory speech, telling those present about the process of creating the film, the difficulties that the authors faced, the main stages of the Great Patriotic War shown in the film.

The college students witnessed the exploits and heroism of Soviet soldiers, starting with Germany’s attack on the Soviet Union and ending with the complete defeat of the enemy on its territory.

Also during the film lecture, the children were shown the exhibition «We Remember Every Hero», which exhibits copies of archival documents of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, stored in the archive.
