Conducting an event within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign for students of the State Educational Institution «Novoselkovskaya Secondary School of the Dzerzhinsky District»

On April 21, 2025, employees of the use department – head of the department of use of documents and information O.M. Dzhenzhera and deputy head of the department M.V. Garelik held a lesson with students of grades 7-11 of the State Educational Institution «Novoselkovskaya Secondary School of the Dzerzhinsky District».

The children learned about the work of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents (hereinafter referred to as BGAKFFD), the specialties required in archives. The main topic of the lesson was the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The students learned about the scale of the accident, the efforts to eliminate its consequences, and got acquainted with the BGAKFFD film and photo documents on this topic.
