Employees of the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno have prepared a virtual exhibition dedicated to the Belarusian poetess, Anna Novik a participant in the liberation movement in Western Belarus in the Vileika region.

In her youth, Anna Novik took part in the life of the Kurenets Belarusian underground. During the Great Patriotic War, she was a partisan.

Since 1948 – chairman of the collective farm in Voronichi, chairman of the village council, worked as deputy head of the political department of the Machine and Tractor Station of the Krivichi District.

After the war, she was published in the local newspaper «Polymya». In 1960, she was accepted into the Writers’ Union. Maxim Tank considered Anna Novik and her work unfairly forgotten. Vileika District Central Library was named after Anna Novik.
