Opening of the exhibition “Through Captivity” in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

On April 12, 2025, on the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Nazi Concentration Camps, the opening of the exhibition “Through Captivity” (for the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War) took place in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter – NARB). This project was prepared by archivists of the Sverdlovsk Region and transferred to NARB within the framework of a cooperation agreement.

NARB Director A.K.Demyanyuk briefly told the team about the tragedy of captivity and the preservation of historical memory of these events. Deputy Director of NARB S.V.Kulinok presented the exhibition to colleagues, telling in detail about the presented materials, as well as about the composition of documents on this topic in the NARB funds.
