Employees of the State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region took part in the campaign «Give the Forest a New Life!»
On April 4, 2025, employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region» joined the republican voluntary campaign «Give the Forest a New Life!», which is carried out by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus with the aim of restoring forest areas damaged, including as a result of hurricane winds in July 2024.
Before the start of the work, forestry specialists conducted a safety briefing and also gave brief recommendations on the use of planting tools.
During the campaign, archivists planted pine seedlings on the territory of the Kalinin forestry.
Campaign «Give the Forest a New Life!» will last until April 12, 2025. Any resident of the country can take part in the event, dedicated to the Year of Improvement and the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. To do this, just contact any forestry of the nearest forestry enterprise, where you will be provided with everything you need.
