The director of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region A.N.Korol, deputy director of the archive T.V.Buevich, chief custodian of the funds, chairman of the trade union committee K.G.Karpekin took part in the event – a meeting with the authors of the documentary-biographical essay «Our President».

The details of the creation of the essay were revealed by the members of the authors’ collective – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of Belarus Alexander Radkov and Chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus, Head of the Belarus Publishing House Alexander Karlyukevich.

The publication has gained wide popularity in the Republic of Belarus and abroad. Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov emphasized that the book «Our President» immediately aroused interest among Belarusians and has already become a bestseller.
