On the excursion within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign at the institution «State Archives of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the «Archives for School» campaign, on March 27, 2025, the institution «State Archives of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» was visited by 11th grade students of Secondary School No.21 in Mogilev.

During the excursion, the children learned about the history of the archive, the main areas of its activities. They got acquainted with the presented exhibitions: «Defense of the City of Mogilev», «Partisan Movement», «80th Anniversary of Victory», «Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War». They watched a documentary «Liberation of the City of Mogilev», prepared by the «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents».

As part of this event, the children visited the museum room, which contains exhibits from the party and Komsomol times, allowing them to get acquainted with the history of the party archive and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that time. They were also given a tour of the archive storage, during which they were introduced to the composition of the stored documents and their storage conditions.

The archive staff also conducted career guidance campaigns about the possibility of obtaining higher education on the terms of targeted training.
