Employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region took part in a training seminar dedicated to the use of information resources in the activities of the organization and ensuring information security

The Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions organized a training seminar dedicated to the use of information resources in the activities of the organization and ensuring information security

The seminar covered issues of information confrontation in modern conditions (destabilization technology), cybercrime prevention and the work of modern media (new challenges and opportunities).

The participants were addressed by the Deputy Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Gutsulyak Anatoly Nikolaevich, the Head of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Garus Alexander Nikolaevich, and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the institution «Editorial Office of the Regional Newspaper «Vitebskie Vesti»« Novikova Yulia Aleksandrovna.

The seminar ended with a tour of the Vitebsk Region Media Center and the Vitebsk Regional Printing House Unitary Printing House.

The seminar participants included employees of the Vitebsk Region State Archives – Deputy Director Tatyana Vladimirovna Buevich and Chief Curator of the Funds, Chairman of the Archive Trade Union Konstantin Grigorievich Karpekin.
