Conducting an event within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.4 of Dzerzhinsk»

On March 20, 2025, Deputy Head of the Department of Document Use and Information M.V.Garelik and Archivist of the Department of Document Use and Information A.V.Kucher held a lesson with students of grades 9-10 of Secondary School No.4 of Dzerzhinsk, dedicated to the anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy. The students were told about the events that took place in Khatyn 82 years ago, the children were familiarized with archival documents related to Khatyn, and, in general, with the crimes committed in the occupied territory of Belarus in 1941-1944. Also, high school students learned about the history of the archive, the main areas of its activities and prospects.
