About the visit of the employee of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» to the Mass Grave

80 years have passed since the Red Army liberated our Belarus from the Nazi invaders. And in the Mogilev region there are many places dedicated to the defense and liberation of cities and villages.

As part of the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, an employee of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» visited the Mass Grave in the agro-town of Barkolabovo, Bykhov district, to the heroes-fellow countrymen who died in the battles for the Motherland and the soldiers who died during the defense and liberation of the village in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

On the same day, the archive employee visited the Monument to soldiers who died during the Second World War on June 26-28, 1944 in the agro-town of Dashkovka, Mogilev district. Soldiers of the 385th Krichev Red Banner Order of Suvorov II degree rifle division forced the Dnieper River and liberated the village of Dashkovka.

The inscription on the monument reads: «Let the names of the fallen and the living be illuminated by the light of grateful memory. Eternal glory to them!».
