On holding an information hour at the institution «Zonal State Archive in Orsha»

On March 14, 2025, as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», with students of grade 8 «A» of the state educational institution «Secondary School No.21 in Orsha», the leading archivist of the department of using documents Gryadovka Yulia Ivanovna, an information hour was held on the topic: «Orsha region: the legacy of the past», dedicated to the monuments of history, architecture and art located on the territory of Orsha and the Orsha district.

The children were presented with archival documents and photographs telling the history of existing and lost Catholic and Orthodox churches, as well as museums and other monuments of the historical and cultural heritage of the district.

At the end of the event, the students were given a tour of the stand exposition of the exhibition of archival documents «My plant is my pride!», dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Orsha machine-tool plant «Krasny Borets».
