On March 14, 2025, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus was held at BelNIIDAD

The ceremonial meeting was held as part of the Single Day of Informing the Population and was dedicated to the topic «The Constitution of the Republic of Belarus – the legal foundation of the unity and prosperity of the Belarusian people».

The meeting was opened by the Director of BelNIIDAD A.E. Rybakov, who emphasized that the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus serves as a solid foundation for the development of a sovereign and legal state. The Director of the Institute noted that the Basic Law of the country guarantees the rights and freedoms of citizens, determines the political system and ensures stability in society, stressed the importance of compliance with constitutional norms by all government bodies, officials and citizens.

The main report was delivered by the Deputy Director for Research of BelNIIDAD S.S.Mishuk. He focused on the fact that the Constitution of Belarus defines the basic principles of the organization of state power, enshrines the socio-economic rights of citizens, and ensures the protection of national interests.

The meeting ended with a screening of a video film about the history of constitutional development in Belarus, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
