Conducting lessons for 9th-grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.31 named after L.G.Kletskov of Grodno» as part of the «Archives to School» campaign at the «State Archives of the Grodno Region» institution

On March 11, 2025, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, the «State Archives of the Grodno Region» institution conducted 2 lessons on the topic of «Archival Affairs in the Grodno Region» and «Echo of War» for 9th-grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.31 named after L.G.Kletskov of Grodno».

Archive employees told schoolchildren about the history of the creation and development of the archive, the main areas of its activities, the composition and content of the stored documents. The students became familiar with the documents of the partisan and underground brigades that operated in the Grodno region during the Nazi occupation: orders of the partisan brigade headquarters, combat logs, notebooks, photographs, as well as memoirs and letters from participants in the Great Patriotic War.

During the excursion around the institution, the students visited the archive storage and the laboratory for restoration, binding and repair of documents.
