On holding a master class on working with archival documents in the State Archives of the Brest Region

As part of the «Archives for School» campaign, on March 3, 2025, the reading room of the archive at 15 V.Khoruzhey Street was visited by a 10th-grade student of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.6 of Brest named after Marshal of the Soviet Union G.K.Zhukov» Valeria Antonova and history teacher Valentina Zaitseva.

The schoolgirl, under the guidance of the teacher, is conducting research work on the study of the tragedy of the Brest ghetto.

Reading room employee Olga Sukharevich held a master class for researchers on working with archival documents, during which materials on this topic for 1941-1942 were identified, and acts of the Brest Regional Commission for Assistance in the Work of the Extraordinary State Commission for the Establishment and Investigation of the Atrocities of the Nazi Invaders and Their Accomplices (ChGK) in the Brest Region, testifying to the mass extermination of Jews at the Bronnaya Gora station in the Berezovsky District in 1942, were offered for review.
