Participation of BGAMLI in the author’s exhibition «Silk Spring»

On March 4, 2025, the director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art E.A.Makarenko took part in the opening of the author’s exhibition of handmade silk bouquets by Svetlana Klimenkova «Silk Spring» at the Yakub Kolas State Literary and Memorial Museum.

The director of the museum I.V.Matyas spoke about new atmospheric projects that allow adapting the memorial space of the museum for people with disabilities, «measuring» a distant and seemingly inaccessible poetic era with different senses: touch, smell, sight, hearing. And also touch the «culture without barriers».

The museum exposition was decorated with about 20 bouquets by Svetlana Klimenkova. A handmade silk bouquet made from a color photograph of Yakub Kolas taken by a BelTA correspondent in August 1952 was donated to the museum.

The exhibition will continue to run at the Yakub Kolas State Literary Memorial Museum from March 4 to March 8 inclusive.
