An employee of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, Raisa Nikolaevna Yanushkevich, became the winner of the city and regional stages of the XVII Republican competition «Woman of the Year – 2024» in the nomination «Veterans do not grow old in soul»

In Vitebsk, the winners of the city and regional stages of the Republican competition «Woman of the Year – 2024», which is held by the Public Association (PA) «Belarusian Union of Women», were honored.

An employee of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region – Raisa Nikolaevna Yanushkevich became the winner in the nomination «Veterans do not grow old in soul».

Raisa Nikolaevna joined the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region in 2002, from where she retired, having received the proud title of «Veteran of Labor». Total length of service in the archive is more than 22 years.

In 2007, she joined the Belarusian Union of Women (BUW), where she has been involved in community work for 18 years.

A regular participant in regional and national events of the BUW: «Our Children», «Let’s Pack a School Bag», «Christmas Purse», «Mom’s Pies» for conscripts of the 103rd Brigade of Vitebsk (annually); the Belarusian-Russian project «Train of Memory» (2019), Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia in Belarus (2024), the Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus (2024), the Marathon of Unity (2024), etc.

An active assistant in the preparation of monthly spiritual meetings of BUW members with representatives of Orthodox churches in Vitebsk. Captain of the BUW team «Vasilinki», which takes an active part in city sports festivals among veteran organizations. She was the initiator of the campaign to collect things to help the wards of the State Institution of Social Services «Selyutsky Psychoneurological Boarding House «Territory of Good»« and the State Institution «Vitebsk Social Boarding House «Na Dvina», the day care department for the disabled of the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk».
