On the excursion for 8th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.15 of Mogilev» to the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the «Archives for School» campaign, on February 6, 2025, 8th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.15 of Mogilev» visited the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region».

During the excursion, the schoolchildren learned about the liberation of the city of Mogilev and the region from the Nazi invaders, the activities of young anti-fascist heroes on the territory of their hometown, and new facts of the genocide of the Belarusian people.

The children were able to hold rare books and documents from the war in their hands, get acquainted with the latest publications on this topic, visit the storage facility and look at rare documentary books. The schoolchildren watched a documentary film: «Liberation of the City of Mogilev».

The excursion left an indelible impression on the students and gave them many emotions.
