«Unity Marathon»: the leadership of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno took part in the final of the republican social and cultural event

The leadership of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno took part in the final of the republican social and cultural event «Unity Marathon». A grand concert was held on January 24 in the capital’s sports and entertainment complex «Minsk-Arena». Musical compositions were replaced by short videos dedicated to the history, successes and development of Belarus. A significant moment was the participation of the head of state in the event.

The idea of holding the marathon was voiced by Alexander Lukashenko on September 17, 2024, at a gala event in honor of National Unity Day. The President then emphasized that the event would unite three main elements: the traditions of national culture, the talents of the Belarusian people and the Slavic soul, which creates an atmosphere of harmony and mutual understanding.

Since autumn, the marathon has visited 15 cities of Belarus, including Molodechno, becoming a real holiday for thousands of residents of the country. In addition to performances by favorite artists, the program included meetings with interesting personalities, visits to domestic enterprises, opening of murals and many other events. Thematic sites and exhibitions were presented by Molodechno archivists.
