A general archive meeting was held at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, at which Kirill Aleksandrovich Filiptsov, the chief specialist of the ideological work and youth affairs sector of the Zheleznodorozhny District Administration of Vitebsk, spoke about the achievements in the development of the Republic of Belarus over 30 years of independence. He also noted the importance of participating in the election campaign. It is worth noting that 89.8% of the archive staff took part in the early voting.

Financial discipline issues were also discussed at the meeting. The archive’s work plan for the implementation of paid services in 2025 was discussed. V.S. Kupreeva, chief accountant of the archive, reminded archivists that Resolution No.52 of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus dated August 7, 2024, was adopted, which stipulates that the salaries of employees of archival institutions will increase from January 1, 2025.
