The Belarusian Center for Digitalization of Archival Activities held a meeting of the workforce to summarize the results of work in 2024 and outline plans for 2025

On January 23, 2025, the Belarusian Center for Digitalization of Archival Activities (hereinafter referred to as BelCCAD) held a meeting of the workforce to summarize the results of work in 2024 and outline plans for 2025.

The meeting was attended by Olga Aleksandrovna Ledovskaya, First Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, via videoconference.

Director of BelCCAD D.V.Shabrov made a detailed report on the work performed by the Center in 2024. Having accompanied his report with an informative and colorful presentation, Denis Valentinovich summed up the results of the Center’s work in all main areas of activity: scientific and methodological work, work on maintaining the Digital Copies Fund, the Center’s archive of electronic documents, technical and information support for the IS AED, SODD NAF 2 systems, the sites “Archives of Belarus”, “Documentary Chronicle of Belarus”, “Main Heraldic Symbols of the Republic of Belarus” and others, support and refinement of the main systems for automating archival activities (AIS Archive, AIS Svodnaya, AIS Heraldry)

First Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.A.Ledovskaya positively assessed the work done by the BelCCAD team (then BelNITsED) during 2024 and thanked them for their work. Olga Alexandrovna also defined the main areas of the Center’s work in 2025.

In the final part of the meeting, the archive workers were awarded. The Certificate of Honor of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus was awarded to the Head of the Information Development Department N.G.Kostyukevich. The Department’s gratitude was expressed to the Assistant Director of the Center A.V.Khvalevko.

The gratitude of the Director of BelCCAD was expressed to the Chief Accountant I.V.Fedorova, the Head of the Information Computer Technologies Department K.O.Andreev, the Leading HR Specialist T.S.Sidyuk, and the Legal Adviser of the 2nd qualification category D.P.Korolenok.

In conclusion of the meeting, the Director of the Center Denis Valentinovich Shabrov once again thanked the team for their success in 2024 and expressed confidence that all the tasks facing the Center in 2025 will be successfully completed.
