The State Archives of the Gomel Region summed up the results of its work for 2024

On January 17, 2025, a meeting of the work collective was held at the State Archives of the Gomel Region to summarize the results of the institution’s work for 2024 with the participation of the First Deputy Head of the Main Justice Department of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Andrei Anatolyevich Gurzhiy. Olga Vladimirovna Zayanchkovskaya, Head of the Department of Records Management, Formation and Preservation of the National Archival Fund of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the meeting via videoconference.

The director of the archive Yu.V.Shestopalov summed up the results of the fulfillment of target and planned indicators in all areas of the GAGOm’s activities for 2024 – acquisition, accounting, preservation, use and digitization of documents, as well as the events held. Yu.VShestopalov noted the team’s achievements in implementing planned indicators and set goals for 2025. The head of the archive noted the team’s significant contribution to the preservation and popularization of the country’s historical and cultural heritage. Andrei Anatolyevich Gurzhiy, as a representative of the Main Department of Justice, gave a positive assessment of the institution’s work. Having pointed out the shortcomings in the work, he aimed at further fruitful activities of the regional archive in solving the planned tasks.
