About the Institute of Presidency and the Profession of an Archivist – at Secondary School No.9 in Rechitsa

Archivists of the ZGA in Rechitsa held an information hour for 10th-grade students of Secondary School No.9 in Rechitsa. The first part of the event, «Developing Belarus. United Belarus», was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Institute of Presidency in Belarus and the presidential elections on January 26, 2025. Based on information material prepared by the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, tenth-graders learned about the achievements of Belarus over 30 years of A.G.Lukashenko’s presidency in the fields of industry, agriculture, trade, sports, space, etc.

The second part of the information hour was held in the format of career guidance work. Rechitsa archivists told students about their archive and work, about the universities where they study to become archivists, and about the requirements for applicants for this profession. In conclusion, the children were given booklets with information about the history department of BSU.
