As part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region was visited by students of the secondary school No.15 of Vitebsk named after M. Ya.Chumanikhina

During the excursion, the children learned about the organization of archival affairs and the network of archives in the Republic of Belarus, the composition of the funds stored in the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, the principles of working with archival documents, and also got acquainted with the exhibition and publishing projects of the archive. The greatest interest among the students was a visit to one of the archival storages and viewing virtual exhibitions.
