Single information day in BGAMLI on the theme «Belarus – a country of peace and harmony»

On December 26, 2024, a single information day dedicated to the theme «Belarus – a country of peace and harmony» was held at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter – BGAMLI). The event was attended by the head of the ideological support department of the Department of Personnel Policy and Ideological Support of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus M.N.Skomoroshchenko.

M.N.Skomoroshchenko made a report and spoke about the state policy of Belarus in the field of ensuring peace and national unity, emphasizing the importance of interfaith and interethnic dialogue. The issues of strengthening public institutions and the role of civil society in maintaining stability and harmony in the country were touched upon.

In her speech, BGAMLI Director E.A.Makarenko highlighted the role of historical memory and the preservation of cultural heritage in strengthening peace and harmony in Belarusian society.

After the speeches, an active discussion of the issues raised took place. BGAMLI employees shared their opinions on the role of each citizen in creating an atmosphere of peace and mutual understanding in Belarus.
