Career guidance and cooperation: The Zonal State Archives in Molodechno held a practical lesson for senior schoolchildren of city schools

The vocational guidance practical lesson for students of Secondary School No.2 and Secondary School No.4 of Molodechno was held by employees of the Zonal State Archives. The schoolchildren already came with theoretical knowledge: the basics of archival science and office work are taught to them at the Molodechno Polytechnic College as part of their initial professional work training. How documents are collected, recorded, their safety is ensured, social and legal requests are executed – all this and more was demonstrated by the archive specialists.

The curators of the special course and the students thanked them for the detailed demonstration of the institution’s work, which allowed them to take a new look at the profession of an archivist and clerk.

The trilateral cooperation between the school, the polytechnic and the archive will be continued.
