BStAMLA participation in a creative meeting with the winner of the National Literary Award Viktor Ivanovich Kuntsevich

On November 21, 2024, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter — BGAMLI) M.I.Pyshinskaya and N.G.Pustilnik-Marchuk took part in a creative meeting with the winner of the National Literary Prize Viktor Ivanovich Kuntsevich, organized by the National Library of the Republic of Belarus and the Union of Writers of Belarus within the framework of the cycle «Literary Olympus of Belarus».

Viktor Ivanovich is a poet, novelist, winner of the Alexei Pysin Prize of the Mogilev regional branch of the Union of Writers of Belarus, winner of the National Literary Award 2024 for the best book of prose. For his high achievements in literary activity, he was awarded the badge of the Union of Writers of Belarus «For the vyaliki shklad u litaratura».

V.I.Kuntsevich is the author of books — «Zvarotny masty» (1996), «Gorkaya spakusa» (1999), «Lonely Rain» (2005), «Rumble at the Bell» (2010), «Wings of the Downpour» (2015), «Kali another soul – twaya» (2023).

During the meeting, the writer talked about his path to literature, sources of inspiration and talent, the heroes of his works and their prototypes.

At the end of the event, in a conversation between M.I.Pyshinskaya and V.I.Kuntsevich, agreements were reached on including him in the list of citizens (figures of literature and art) — sources of acquisition of BGAMLI – and replenishing the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus with his documents.
