Participation of BGAMLI in festive events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus

On November 5, 2024, the director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) E.A.Makarenko, together with the directors of state archival institutions A.K.Demyanyuk, M.M.Glushakov and A.N.Gonchar, took part in festive events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.

The National Art Museum was congratulated on the anniversary by the heads of the Ministry of Culture and subordinate organizations, creative intelligentsia, artists and journalists.

The First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus V.I.Gromada, General Director of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus E.N.Dulova and others made congratulatory speeches.

The participants of the event were presented with the exhibition «Losses and Acquisitions. The Fate of Artistic Values of the State Art Gallery. 1939–1957», dedicated to the history of the creation and activities of the State Art Gallery in Minsk, the removal of cultural valuables during the Great Patriotic War, and the construction of the main building of the National Art Museum.

At the end of the events, a festive concert was held at the Belarusian State Philharmonic.
